Guest guest Posted September 26, 2007 Report Share Posted September 26, 2007 , you can use a part of Yerba Mate, however, you do need real tea, camellia sinensis, to make KT. If not, it's not real KT. Trust me, I live in Argentina and my argentinian relatives are yerba mate and tea growers. The produce good yerba mate, and excellent tea, but it's so good it's all exported to who knows where and the family that live far away from them (about 1000 kilometres in my case) never get any. I once got a kilo of their tea, really delicious, but never again. Stick to camellia sinensis and add some yerba if you want to, but the bulk must be real tea.
