have the privilge of having your mother alive and well until age 92.

She is at home now with her Lord and Savior- for which I am very

grateful. Thanks for the support from this list- it means a lot to

me. I miss her more each day.

looked up an air fare, it was 600 dollars- so I'll have to pass this

time. I'll be thinking of Marta's wonderful house and pool, and the

protein cake and all you wonderful folks. Maybe August.

glad she went peacefully- that is such a blessing. it still isnt an

easy thing to go through- we learn how to deal with it but the pain

never goes away. i am confident, though, that she is in a beautiful

place and will be right beside you in spirit forever. God Bless you

What a blessing that Nana was able to pass with the love of her

family at her side helping her go with dignity and peace. This was

a gift for her and you.

She has only moved on from this earth but will forever be in your

life. You can talk to her anytime and she will answer...you just

have to listen with your heart instead of your ears.

Hugging you with my heart

Oh Betsy,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, my friend. I am so glad that

you and your brother and sister were there tho and got to be with

her as she departed and went home. It is such a blessing to know

that she is with our Lord and that you will be together again...

blessed assurance. I will be keeping you and your family in my

prayers for comfort from above.

You will be missed next Sunday but when you come in August we will

be sure to add a trip to Woolgrowers on to the pool party too.

Maybe Monday eve before Tuesdays support meeting?

and thanks for reminding me...I will order the cake from Jakes and

pay for it, will someone pick it up and take it to the pool party

for me? We will becoming from the coast and cant be sure what time

we will be there- but want to make sure you all have your protien

cake on time! lol

Sharon...consider it done! Just tell me " When " it will be ready for

pick-up. I will also take care of returning the pan for you so you

can get your deposit back if you want me to. Also...I'll go halves

with you on the cake, you pitched in with me last year.

Ummmm....I've been needing to suppliment my diet with a really good

source of protein in cake form!

piece last year and she loved it....She still isn't feeling

up to par so we will see how she does if she gets to come

to the party or not. Have to get a used tire for ruthie's

YES Betsy! we have had between 3 and 5 inches of rain since last night. I'm

beginning to feel like a drowned rat. You wouldn't think a tropical storm would

affect us this much so far north!

====================================

Sharon it's your call....I can pick it up Thursday, no problem.

Will it still be good? Probably, but why not ask Jakes if they

think it will be good. After all they make them all the time and I

am sure they don't always bake them the same day they sell them....

If you don't think the cake will be good (especially for what it

cost) on Sunday, then lets just skip it and do it in August.... and

lets see....Sequoia Sandwich Co. does a homemade choc cake that has

a mean reputation, I don't know if they sell a whole cake but I bet

they do.

Or Hell, I think I remember how to bake???
