Guest guest
<<, I have not found that the size of the container has any effect on brewing time- >> Zoe, I am new and was just trying to figure and research this very thing. I have a smaller scoby about 3 " in diameter and another double that size. Are you saying that it doesn't matter the volume of tea I use with each? It seemed logical to me that the larger one would require more tea and a bigger jar. Would you please clarify this for me? Is it only the time frame that changes then, regardless of the size of the scoby? Thanks so much, Millie

Guest guest
Instructions I received with my new culture said to use a 4 " or larger for a gallon of tea, and 3 " or larger for a half-gallon (2 litre), and 2 " or larger for a quart.
