Guest guest
I use the HSS as part of my Lyme treatment (I use RealSalt for table and cooking, it's another sea salt). I am up to 4.5 g's of HSS and my bp is fine, too. (I am on atenolol, too, but not for high bp, for neurocardiogenic syncope and inappropriate sinus tachycardia). I read the book, SALT YOUR WAY TO HEALTH and in it the dr. said that low salt diets help very few anyway and how a low salt diet is bad for us. We need salt, but it must be unrefined, not table poison. I thought it was funny that you mentioned salt in your lemonade, because another Lymie in a Lyme group I belong to has been trying to get me to do that. I just can't imagine it tasting good, myself. jan > > Me too, ine. I like it very much and use the HSS in my salt grinder on anything that I feel needs it. It's especially good on a red ripe tomato served with a ripe Hass avocado - heaven! > > My eldest granddaughter (7+) loves sour things - she will eat lemons with no problem. I only had limes last time she was here (I have both lemon and lime tree in the backyard) and she was eating the lime when I asked if she wanted to try a little HSS on it. She wasn't too keen, but did try it and decided she likes it. I actually like the HSS in my lemonade or limeade too. > > I thank the person who mentioned the HSS on this board - otherwise I might never have discovered it for myself. Anyone who hasn't yet tried it should Google it and read up. > > And I have hypertension, being treated w/atenolol. Took my BP today and it's 110/60. Obviously the salt isn't hurting me. Love it! > > Cheers...Peggy
