Guest guest
Sheila- Yes you should qualify for medicaid (the deeming waiver, Beckett). They don't base the medicaid on your income, although they ask you for it somewhere on the application. If you make too much money most people don't qualify for SSI, but they do qualify for medicaid. Call you local DFACS ( Dept. of Family & Children's Services) office and ask them to send you an application for the deeming waiver. You can ask them also for the GA dept. of health number. I know here in Forsyth Co. they are right next door to each other in Cumming. DeJarnette NEED INFO Didn't qualify for SSI because my husband makes $2400 a month gross. I'm guessing that I wouldn't qualify for Medicaid either for the samereason? Was wondering if anybody knew the number to GA department of health. What would be a good low cost way to get a diagnosis on my son so he canqualify for additional services? What is the number for the waiver that will help pay for therapies? Thanks for any and all information given. Sheila
