Guest guest
Hi Guys, OMG!!! Is it really that bad in Georgia? How does the child receive services? Is it all up to the parents to pay and then hope for reimbursement? What about families who can't afford that? What does the state or county or whoever actually do? I always knew the services we have here are good, but didn't realize how bad it was elsewhere. This transfer opportunity is a great promotion for my hubby. We are not all about the money, although more would be nice of course. We are just trying to evaluate the impact to our whole family if he accepts this. hmmm..... Thanks, Betsy

Yep,, up to us to mortgage our houses or whatever it takes to make sure our kids are taken care of,,, hmm families that cant afford that? likely why so many kids are misplaced into foster care or juvenile justice?? Guest guest
I'm in Houston County - it took selling everything that wasn't nailed down, 2nd mortgage on the house and thousands of dollars on attorney fees and DP to get a decent program for my daughter, and I still fight daily. It's not fun and I feel as if they just don't care. I've seen worse, but they are even smaller than HC. Just get prepared.
