Large Diameter SCOBY's from Continuous Brew

Hi all!

I've only been lurking lately. I haven't really had many questions

since starting the continuous brew, and it seems like most everyone

else's questions are quickly and wonderfully answered. I finally have

a question. I have these huge diameter scoby's now that are piling up

in my container and I don't know what to do with them. Since they're

definetly not pretty ones and at lease 12 " across sharing doesn't seem

to be feasable, or maybe thats what I need to do, but I haven't ever

shared so I would need some advice if I do. I also don't have much

extra time to make any " lotions " or the like, and don't really have any

skin conditions that would need attention. Maybe I can cut them in

strips and dry them out for my dog, but I don't think she likes KT.

Ok, enough babling.....any advice?

Hi, This might help:

http://users.bestweb.net/~om/~kombu/FAQ/part01g.html

Go to 7.6 and 7.25 There might be more to help you, I just did a

quick scan. Also, if you consider sharing you might want to limit it

to those who can pick them up and forget mailing them. I say that,

because you said you are very busy.
