Calling all Delano area residents....

Need entertainment ideas for family while they are in the area.....What is there

of interest within 1 to 2 hours by car from Delano? Keep in mind we live in

Kansas, so it doesn't take a lot to entertain us. My husband loves nature. My

daughter is 12 and loves movies, shopping and the phone....so let's go with

movies and nature related things? How far away is the ocean? Can they make it

there and back in one day? Is there a movie theatre in Delano? If not, where

is the nearest one and what is it called?

Thanks for any info. Thought they might be able to take a small road trip on

day 3 or so of the hospital stay (while there is someone else to take care of

me) and perhaps another after I have been out a week or so.... I think I'll just

stay behind and read a book....
