Austin conference Is anyone on this list planning on attending the conference in Austin May 31 and June 1st? A lot of good speakers. Schafer didn't list the price for it, does anyone have any information on the fees? Guest guest
Just fyi, you can get your school district to help you with funding if you are interested. They have training funds. That's usually how I get to go to conferences. Yes, $120 is a lot of money...but usually these type of conferences are in the $1000+ range. Guest guest
The videotape suggestion is a great idea -- but the only legal way to do this to ask CASD to videotape and distribute. I'd suggest you contact CASD directly with this request. Also, many conferences of this type will publish transcripts of the sessions, and then offer these transcripts for purchase. I do not know if this will done here -- CASD should be able to answer.
