Guest guest
I have a question. Detox...how severe can it be? I bottled my KT last night, and there was 8 oz that would not fit in my bottles. So, I divided it between 2 small glasses, drank one, and planned the other for today. Well, before I went to bed, I drank the other for a total of 8 oz. About an hour laster, my stomach started giving me trouble. By midnight I had diarhea, which went on all night. This morning I was so very light headed and dizzy. So, I have spent almost the entire day in bed or on the couch. I have eaten next to nothing...actually afraid to. Now, I remember reading, to start with, not more than 4 oz and drink lots of water. Could there be something else going on here? Thanks so much, Bette zoe w <ilovegrafix@...> wrote: > So Happy your first brew was successful, they aren't always > zoe > > > Not bad. Guest guest
Thanks for telling me your experience. My DH was sure that I had poisoned myself! He thinks I am crazy to use Kefir, KT. I did feel better last night...ended up eating junkfood. Went to bed with tummy trouble. But this morning feel ok. Even planning breakfast soon. You should have seen what happened to me ( I drank 16 oz first time out the starting gate- LOL) Not only was there tons of loose stools, my face swelled up til barely recognizable no pain- just swelling. Took about 5 days to clear it out. Just keep drinking lots of water, and cut down on the KT until your body regulates itself. I can now drink all the KT I want (sometimes 2 qts in a day) with no ill effects. > zoe

Guest guest
Ha! My husband had the same exact attitude! I had been drinking KT for a couple of weeks (and not near enough water) when my face swelled up -- no pain, like you said, but it ITCHED like crazy! I throttled back on the KT and drank loads of water, and I was fine after that, but DH was seriously thinking about forbidding me to drink any more Kombucha. (As if!) He still won't drink any, but he no longer minds me drinking it. Namaste- Sylvia --------------------------------- Shape in your own image. Join our Network Research Panel today!
