Guest guest
OK, brain cramp... here was the question I forgot to put in my last e-mail. My girlfriend had surgery with Dr. Anthone 2 years ago. She went in for her two year check up and was told that she can expect up to a 20 pound weight re-gain. This does not make her happy. (She's shorter then me and hovering around the upper 160s I think) Has anyone here heard Dr. K tell any of us that there will be weight re-gain? I can't say I have heard it! Guest guest
Melisa, Dr. K didn't say that specifically but all the reports I've read say that there is a possibility of a 15 to 20 pound weight regain with the DS surgery. I was willing to take that risk because the weight regain with the RNY can be much higher. Sorry if you were unaware of that. Why did Dr. Anthone think she would regain at this point? It's a possibility but it doesn't happen to everyone. Tracey > My girlfriend had surgery with Dr. Anthone 2 years ago.
