Jo,

Okay, okay. You showed me yours, so I'll show you mine! No RSVP needed. The

show and tell will commence in the handicap stall of the women's restroom at

6 sharp! For those of you who are not allowed in the women's restroom, I will

wear short sleeves so you can at least see the arms, okay?

For the out-of-towners who can't make it, , we want details now?

Who did the surgery?

Was he a Plastic Surgeon?

Did it hurt?

Did he lipo it first?

How long are the scars?

Are you glad you did it?

Thanks, I vow I will not die with batwings!

Marla,

Dr. K and Dr. Bae, a plastic surgeon from LA did the surgery. Yes, it hurt,

so I took the vicodin every 4 hours, even through the night for the first

week. I couldn't reach anything for the first 3-4 days, so I needed help with

the restroom and eating, as well as dressing. I don't think he lipo'd

anything. It was mostly just skin, no need to. The arm scars start in my arm

pit and go almost to my elbow. They are on the under/back side, so you don't

see them easily. I will post arm photos online by next week. The ta ta's are

another story. I am already glad I did it. I have some sleeveless blouses and

dresses that I bought just for this and have already worn two. I think it

might hurt less to have the arms done without the breasts at the same time,

but I couldn't tell you for a fact.

, that is such a relief to know Dr K does it. I went to a Plastic

Surgeon here and he was great. He said it would cost $4,500. I am a long

ways away from doing that. When you decide to post the pictures would you

send me them to me privately at mjbdenver@... because, I am ashamed to

admit that I lost my passwords and ID for and I have never been able to

access our group's pictures or anything else. I changed my password and

then put in my e-mail address and they said that address was already taken.

Well, of course it was mine. So I gave up.

Thanks for the information.

Lee,

I am not baking, that is for sure!! I am currently in Vancouver, WA job

hunting. Until 2 days ago I was also house hunting, but just found a place and

signed papers on it! It is going to be a huge change. Although my family is

behind me, some are a bit put out.... I have been the family babysitter and

go-for

for so long that they have come to depend on me (read: taken for granted). One

sister-in-law is moaning about the cost of child care this summer ( I usually

do it, and only starting charging a wee bit last summer). Another family

member is wondering how she will get her stuff to the dump without my truck. I

love them all, but NOT MY PROBLEM (anymore).

I am excited and nervous about the move. It is a big thing to do. I am ready

for it, though. The area is beautiful. The weather is nice (I like wet

better than hot). AND the man is fantastic.

, congrats on signing the papers for your new place! How

exciting! I spent some time in Vancouver and Seattle many years ago

and you're right. It's very pretty there. The rain didn't bother me

much. I don't think I'd like the occasional snow they get, though!

Good luck with that job hunting and keep us posted! And you're

right, your family's problems are their own. It's not your

responsibility. They'll be fine, even if they gripe a little. :)

Hugs!
