It's important to inform yourself well before you do the brewing itself. Live the whole thing out in your imagination first and see that you have all the vessels and ingredients you need. It is really important to invest in a good brewing vessel or two, preferably glass. You can find amazing things (sweet jars, goldfish bowls pickle jars) in thrift or second hand shops. Here are the sites I especially like: http://www.kombuchatea.co.uk/how-do-i-make-kombucha.asp http://users.bestweb.net/~om/kmi/manual.html Kombucha Recipe - How To Make Kombucha Tea (animated gif) http://www.kombuchatea.co.uk/kombucha-fermentation.asp So, you only have to wait for a kind person as near to Pennsylvania as possible to offer you a culture. My son and his wife live in Georgia. They do Kombucha, but are ATM not on internet. They might be able to send you a culture with me as an intermediary if all else fails. You can contact me privately if you are interested in that option as the exchange of addresses would be necessary. Hoping all will work out fine for you! Best wishes kombuchaly, Margret UK :-) -- +------------------ Minstrel@... --------------------+ <)))<>< http://www.therpc.f9.co.uk <)))<>< http://www.AnswersInGenesis.com +----------------- http://www.Gotquestions.org ------------------+ God without man is still God.
