woohoo! I drank my own kt today

LOL I bottled some and let it sit out 2 days, then refridgerated it.

It lost it's fizz somehow and was very mild tasting, not bad.

I have decided the one jar that has just about 2 qts of kt in it will

be my hotel, although I am going to get a different container. Why

worry about the spigot if it's just a hotel, eh?

I, also, just got my 2.5gal jar going. I only filled it with a gallon

of kt (still haven't got any takers in joining me for KT). I made it

from a kit from the HH and the tea is much lighter than what I have

been making. Wonder why? It looks more in line with the color of GT's.

The HH's scoby wasn't as thick as ann's, that surprised me. All my

babies (from ann's) are as thick or thicker than what he sent. I

just had to try HH's, though, to see if there was any difference.

Anyway, I'm happy about drinking my own finally, but only have 1 1/2

bottles of it left and then have to wait for my two brews to mature.
