Guest guest
Dear Missy, Why don't you consider flavoring your KT on a second brew and then bottling it to travel with. It would be superior and a whole lot less expensive. Has Anyone Tried These ? Or used them regularly ,in lieu of home brew ? http://www.gtskombu cha.com/products .html I was just wondering if they were all around good . I know buying KT this way means the benefits wont be the same as home brew. But i think i am attracted to all the yummy flavors ,and i can buy when i am out and about, as just a beverage (AS he is selling it at many many locations in NYC it seems). Thoughts ? Guest guest
> > Or used them regularly ,in lieu of home brew ? > http://www.gtskombucha.com/products.html > Hi Missy....I started out on GT's...way way back (several months ago, lol)before I knew one could make Kombucah at home! I wasn't so happy with my own brews....at least not the first few!! Then I learned to start manipulating the brew formua more to my liking...ie reducing the amount of sugar to produce a lighter and more balanced (to my palate) drink. GT's is fine and don't let anyone tell you different!! But...it really is just Kombucha with stuff added in the end! I kept my five cases worth of GT's bottles and use those for my own brews nowadays...sometimes adding flavours...sometimes not. I cannot afford GT's anymore, even occasionally as I have lost my job due to my hearing loss...but I always take a bottle of my own in my car with me! Also...although purists would argue...I do sometimes put Kombucha in plastic food grade bottles! So...dear Missy...it really is a purely personal approach as to what you want to do! Warm Regards... Guest guest
I've been drinking GT's, but am now brewing my own. My main thought is the expense. I would go broke drinking GT's everyday. My 2nd thought is I need to have kt decaf'd. Someone said that they thought their home brewed tastes better. I can't wait to find out if I think mine does. jan > > Or used them regularly ,in lieu of home brew ? > http://www.gtskombucha.com/products.html > > I was just wondering if they were all around good . > I know buying KT this way means the benefits wont be the same as home > brew. I would go broke drinking GT's everyday. Being too new to KT, I have no idea if home brewed is superior to bottled or not. What I do know is that I ****************really**************** loved the flavor of that GT KT with the spirulina. As i was drinking it, i also had the conviction, a deep gut wrenching, that **this** was something my body needed. If I had any idea what they put into it in addition to spirulina, I'd experiment. But I don;t. I don;t even know where to purchase spirulina. -- - May the Holy Spirit dance in our hearts! Guest guest
I first tried GT's a few months ago. I liked the flavors and I think it was having positive effects on my overall health, but I would always have hot flushes after drinking it--my face would get very red and I'd feel hot, as if I was having a bad hot flash. I'm now obtaining KT from an Amish farmer. It is really delicious and no hot flushes! ee
