Guest guest
Hi, all - I have a bipolar client - woman in mid 20's, high functioning - who was doing well with sessions with the T3///T4 (10-15) protocol (determined by TLC). Despite her " numbness " with Seroquel, she was " more relaxed " after sessions 1 and 3. She also reported increased energy, and decreased ankle pain. During the 4th session, she pulled the headphones off and said she felt agitated and restless and wanted to stop. We did. The agitation continued over the 3 days until yesterday's session. She said it felt like the edge of a manic episode, which she hadn't had in a few years. So, we changed gears and did a little bit of pirHEG. She felt less agitated after that. Any thoughts on the T3///T4 experience? She said she's had similar feelings from Lamictal in the past, and I wondered if it isn't reacting, now? Also, I remember hearing at a workshop that the bipolar brain is fragile, and it is best to do balanced work in both hemispheres, to avoid tipping a person. Is this still the case? I'm thinking others have had success differently - reading someone's post recently (Noel's?) about treating the over-aroused non-dominant side. Thoughts? Thanks so very much in advance...
