Changes in BPS on Pendant HEG

I'm using Driver version 2.6.0.0 dated 10/22/09 for my pendant HEG. I'm denied

option of going into Advanced saying I must have privileges in the registry for

the device to modify. Do I need to Go into Advanced to change buffer size from

4096 to 64 and Latency from 16mSec to 1mSec? Thanks for any thoughts.
