Hello, all -

I have BioExplorer up and running in Windows 7 (with Atlantis) and all seems

well except there's no sound on DVD playback. The screen fades in and out as it

should, but just missing audio.

THOUGHTS?

Thanks much, and happy holiday!

Gretchen

Are you sure you have your audio set right on your computer - did you do a sound check outside of BioExplorer?

Yup - thanks, Viola...a DVD will play with sound in the regular DVD player.

If you have windows 7, you do not need to install XP unless I don't know all of the details:)

Connie Re: DVD sound missing

Gretchen,

I had the similar problem, and I must install windows XP.

I have windows 7 also and my sound does not work along with a couple of other things with the program.  I have checked in all of the places to adjust the volume, and the volume does not work outside the program.  I was just thinking it was me but maybe there is a conflict because it is windows 7.

Namaste:Dscaler *may* work, but you might have to go to this page and download these DLL's and install them if you are running 64 bit Windows of any variety:

http://icosahedron.de/win64/DScaler.htmlI have been using Dscaler5008 + the dll's from that site for about a year now and over a dozen machines and it's been pretty good.
