Guest guest
Hi! I have a couple questions about the bioexplorer program running my nirHEG pendant. First, when I start a session, as soon as I name it, I start to hear a consistent tone that goes on the whole time. I have figured out how to turn it way down or off, but why am I constantly hearing that? Does this indicate something is not right? Second, I am using dvds. I wait to capture my baseline and then no matter whether I switch it to manual or auto it seems the movie will not go anywhere, even though my baseline numbers are at or above my captured baseline. The only way I can get the movie to go is to switch to manual and play with the bar graph on the left of the screen, pulling it down (or up?) until it starts to play. But then, if I do that, what is my feedback to tell my brain I am doing it right? Third, listening to theory presentation from Pete, I should not be trying, just watching, focusing. Is this right? I mean, how do you get the numbers to go up if you are not " trying " to do anything? Fourth, is there supposed to be any pleasant sounds playing, as the numbers are going up? If so, why do I not hear anything like that? Fifth, how much of an increase do you expect to see in the numbers? I had one session where I started at 67.4 and it went to 106.3 - but most are increasing from 66.2 to 69.1, sometihng like that. What do you typically see and how do you know you are getting it right? Sixth, my son is seven and has adhd - he has a very low frustrate level. He watched the dvd, but I switched it to brighten/darken because I didn't thinnk he would tolerate it very well if the movie kept stopping (for me it would almost always be stopped!) His levels, too started at 66 and went to 69.2. Does that seem successful? Thank you so much for reading - I'm sorry for all the questions. I feel like I'm fumbling in the dark and really wish I had someone near by who could come and take a look and watch me do a session or two to give me pointers. It would probably make this processs much, much faster! Have a great day! Viola Newman
