Uh oh, can you tell me how to do that? is it in the Properties, or are we talking about the Signal Diagram?LizOn Sat, Jun 26, 2010 at 10:19 AM, St. Clair <mastclair@...> wrote:

Liz,

make sure the trend is connected to amplitude, not signal.  that will smooth it out, I think.

more alpha-design questions [1 Attachment]

Hello Pete & Listmates,First of all, yesterday I posted that my pendant was " red-lighted " on channels 1 and 2 (while I was just using Ch 1). I switched all electrodes and now everything is Green. I need to do some more " hacking " but I'm thinking my earclipped electrodes are the culprit. OK. Now I'm attaching a screenshot of my trial alpha % up session and I have a few questions:(1) first, the trend line. Is that a normal trend line? it looks like it's all over the place. If that's how it's supposed to look, fine. Just checking, but I don't know what sort of conclusion as to alpha's " trend " I would make from that display.(2)  When Display range is set at 0.0 - 30, I don't see any trend. When I reset it to Auto, I did, but now the scale is from 34.1m to 1.1. Can you say why that is? Clearly the first time the values were too low to be detected, and Auto range corrected that. But can you say why? Is it that there is just so little alpha that it's not registering when the scale is from 0-30? What sort of range would be desireable?(3) There's a bit of 60-cycle, looking at the lowest graph. Is it too much, and is it interfering with what I want to be happening? Thanks!Liz
