Kid with fast wave disorder better on stimulant meds?

I assessed a 7 year old today. His mom wants to get him off meds. She said he

does much better on stimulant meds.

I completed the TLC and he has a fast wave disorder. Big slope up at C's and T's

but possibly some slow waves (T/B range about 4) at P's.

I can't quite figure out how a kid with beta and high beta percentages of 17 and

18 percent eyes closed and much worse with eyes open and task could do well on

stimulant meds.

Just a bit perplexed that a fast wave disorder could respond to stimulant

medication.

Any ideas? Connie
