Dominance issues

Hi All,

In a recent post I noted that that TLC assessment

is not recommended on young children due to frequencies being lower in the younger

age groups.

This was a little disappointing for me as

I have an almost 5 year old who I wanted to use this method for.

But perhaps someone could suggest another

approach.

The issues that are most relevant at the

moment seem to be largely dominance and fine motor skills.

By dominance I mean that she uses left

hand for some tasks and the right for others, like writing and eating.

She also is starting to stutter, (language

sound production was already poor, missing sounds).

The stuttering seems to me, may also be

due to dominance issues.

I know that in most cases language processing

is done on the left side of the brain, however in a small percentage it can be

on the right side.

How can I know which side it is developing

on, so I don’t suppress the language side?

Also I would like any recommendations

about what and where to train, or where to start looking, and what frequencies

for her age?

She has done the zengar training and some

high beta suppression (looing back was it really hi beta?)

Obviously theta is high in this age group,

but still higher than her younger sister.

Thanks for listening.

Regards,

Kent.
