**** MDVIP UPDATE ****The CEO of MDVIP, Dr. Goldman, called me at home!!He went on and on about how wonderful MDVIP is.Dr. Goldman said his "Patient Advocates" (salesmen) often "get alittle overzealous with their numbers".The "numbers" these patient advocates gave me were: "around 300already signed up for the 600 slots out of around 6,000 totalpatients.He indicated this tactic is used to motivate potential patients tosign up. He also apologized to me for the "misunderstanding".He also indicated they do not formally notify patients of anenrollment start date, to avoid a "run on the bank" - this mightoverwhelm MDVIP's staff and systems.I was, and am, speechless.So.....the "real numbers" from the horse's mouth - Dr. Goldman, CEO, MDVIP: 6,000 is total patient charts. 3,000 is total active patients - have seen Dr. Schrader in thelast 2
