Guest guest
I've been hesitant to post because I'm really hoping I'm wrong... but I think after an amazing fever free year, thanks to Cimetidine, we're back to fevering. We've had 2 episodes within 3 weeks and I'm expecting a 3rd in the next few days. He has gained 10 lbs since starting Cim, but they said that while he's at the low end of the dosage chart he hasn't outgrown it. My son is now able to communicate much more, but I still have some questions. He keeps rubbing his eyes or as he says " flattening out his eyes. " He told me he's trying to make room. Anyone with older kids have any insight? He said they don't hurt, he's just making room. Wondering if he needs to go to the optometrist. Is it the inflammation? Also, he wakes up in a soaking sweat a few days prior to fevering. It was as if I poured a glass of water on his head and pillow. Anyone else experience this? Sort of similar to when a fever breaks, except he's not fevering. Thanks, Vivian
