Hi. My name is Jodi and I have a 6-year-old son, , with .

After many years of going to his pediatrician and being told " kids get

sick - it's just a virus " we finally found out about /Marshall's

Syndrome. Of course we had changed doctors and our new pediatrician

sent Jake through a battery of tests - blood tests, urinalysis,

ultrasounds, upper and lower gi. He has being taking Cimetidine for

about 2 years now. It worked for the first year or so, but he started

his +/- 30 day cycles again. The bright side is that what used to be a

weeklong occurrence is now usually a day or 2 at most. I've read a lot

about kids growing out of this by around age 10 and we are hoping to be

on the mend. We don't see any signs of this happening in our 2 year

old son - do folks have siblings with ? Does anyone have

suggestions for the mouth ulcers that he gets? I saw some info about

Maalox and Benadryl - does that work? Jake is not very good about

taking medicines so I'm worried about the taste. I'm curious to learn

more from parents of older children with this to see what course

actions have been taken. Lastly - Jake gets constipated a lot, and I'm

wondering if anyone else has that issue and thinks it's related to the

(Miralax works wonders FYI!). Thank you in advance for your
