New to group, would love ANY advise!!!

Hi, my name is , and my 4 year old daughter was just diagnosed with

. She has been having 102-104 degree fevers, swollen glands, swollen

tonsils with puss on the them, with negative strep cultures everytime, etc. for

about 9 months, occurring every 3 weeks or so.

As I am reading older posts, I am sitting here with my mouth hanging to the

floor. She complains regularly that the sun hurting her eyes, she gets

headaches, leg pain and stomach pain.

This last episode was only 10 days after the one before it. Her tonsils were

touching, she slept for 20 out of 24 hours for several days. She has been

waking up ok the past few days, and within hours, she is burning up. It's a

little different than her normal episode, it's worse.

She is scheduled to have her tonsils and adnoids out in a week, as long as she

is healthy that day.

Is there anything a newbie should know about this syndrome, or past

messages/discussions that are must reads?

My plate is sooooooo full. My son who is only 3 has Autism, so this is just

another thing to educate myself on, so I can help her too.
