The list of accredited covered groups for NTCB is at:  http://ntcb.org/accredited.html.

As far as I can determine by visiting the website,

you pay your money (click on here to see APPLY and PAY - http://ntcb.org/apply.html),

you send NCTB a form, you get your certificate.

There is no verification of any information provided.  There is

no testing of any kind required.

I believe it’s called a paper factory.  It’s a great business

model.

It may have supporters. People may be using it.    It meets the

criteria for a sham operation.

I would appreciate any facts (not opinion) regarding the organization

that would lead to any other conclusion.

Please check the website carefully.

Per the website:   Types of Certification included:  Acupressure,

Aromatherapy, Homeo-Therapeutic Coach, Hypnotist Coach certification, Neurofeedback,

Quantum Biofeedback, Pain Management, Reflexology, Shiatsu and more . .

Subject: RE: Totally confused, NTCB fraud.

I am very pleased to hear this discussion about

professional practice. There are many talented and compassionate people on this

group. It would be a shame for anyone to miss the opportunity to protect

himself or herself from fraud.

Certification is a complex issue that is going to be disappointing for many of

you. Don't take my word for any of what I am about to say. But don't take

NTCB's word either.

First I want to address the recent assertion that BCIA's criticism of other

accrediting groups is mean-spirited and financially motivated.

Each state says you can NOT diagnosis or treat physical or mental illness

without a license. If you have a license you can be BCIA certified.

A recent post suggested that BCIA is hyper-critical of other biofeedback licensing

groups. Let's look at those 'alternate agencies'. They are all the creation of

one who fled the US for mail fraud charges and, from his mansion

in Hungary, has created more than a dozen fake accrediting agencies that give

the appearance of legitimacy. They are all interlinked. You can see for

yourself.

First, meet by visiting the following news video link: Warning -

he is a cross-dresser who calls himself and the smartest man in the

world. He has 8 Ph.D.s which he gave himself.

http://www.cbc.ca/marketplace/2009/miracle_makers_or_money_takers/main.html.

Now look at what has happened when people buy his certifications in 1)

spiritual healing, 2) quantum master biofeedback, 3) neurotherapy, 4)

aromatherapy, 5) homeopathy, 6) Reiki, etc. In the following link you will find

stories about victims of 's 'credentialed' professionals. Will

help them in court now? After all, they bought his malpractice insurance

by making a payment to a car decal manufacturer in Mexico (see below). Look at

this:

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/medicaldevices/

Lest I be called a mean-spirited nay-sayer myself, you can find all this

information out for yourself. Just be brave and do the footwork.

Here is a list of the websites and shadow organizations that has

created. You may have been tricked into buying a worthless certificate. If it

led to you studying and learning more, maybe it was worth it. But consider who

you are really dealing with here.

Natural Therapies Certification Board (ntcb.org)

Medical Biofeedback Association (mbacb.com)

The Biofeedback Coach (biofeedbackcoach.com)

Natural Therapies Accreditation Commission (ntac.biz/)

Biofeedback Association of North America (bfbana.com)

The License Commission of the Americas (tlct.com)

The Quantum Academies (thequantumacademies.com/)

Natural Therapies Association of North America (nta-na.com/)

Most of these 8 websites and dozens more are all made by the same website

company, qhiron.com. I urge you to do an Internet WHOIS search and find out who

runs these websites. Would you be shocked if I told you that the owners are all

" SECRET " and there is no contact information. Check it out yourself.

Notice that the natural therapies certification board in their section

" about us " claims that they are a member of the " National

Organization for Competency Assurance. Visit this government site yourself - (http://www.credentialingexcellence.org/).

NTCB is NOT listed.

Why are all these licensing boards and certification boards etc all showing up with

similar fonts, the same website designer, and owners who are " SECRET "

and not able to be contacted.

When you do a WHOIS for bcia.org, AAPB.org, or any of the state biofeedback

societies it is easy to find the people behind the curtain. They don't have

anything to hide! You don't have to go through an automotive decal company in

Mexico to send an email to their lawyers for help (keep reading).

To really see WHAT IS GOING ON WITH NTCB just look around. Keep looking at his

website. You will see courses by ( ), He will certify you

in homeopathy, spiritual healing, neurotherapy, anything. All over these

interlinked websites you keep seeing references to the bogus quantum

biofeedback device of . He wants you to buy one. Only $18,000 and you get

a free website thrown in. You are now a quantum master healer. If you sucker 2

other people into buying one, you get a bonus. It is called a pyramid.

Do you think his reasonably priced malpractice insurance is going to help you.

You buy it from a secretly run domain, ipxservices.com, and you make your

payment to a car decal company in Mexico imant.com. Don't take my word for it.

Check it out.

You should know that there have been leaders in neurosciences and neurofeedback

that had their pictures and fake endorsements put on 's websites without

their permission. They have spent years and thousands of dollars to try

unsuccessfully to get them off. The Hungarian government didn't mind that Prof

(who awarded himself 8 Ph.Ds (seriously) and is thus the world's

smartest man) was acting the torch singer in Budapest discos. They apparently

appreciate the several millions of dollars per month that come into their

country. It pays for his 'security'.

Let me remind you about 's great invention, the SCIO EPFX quantum Xirroid

all-in-one biofeedback machine. It has a database which lists every disease,

every nutrient, every infectious micro-organism, every acupuncture point, every

homeopathic remedy, every chiropractic subluxation, every food allergy, every

past life problem. Don't worry, if a new disease arises it is instantly added

to the database. A random number generator selects the disease. Through a

secret technology known only to the world's smartest man, the patient's aura

automatically stops the computer when the random number hits the accurate

disease. Then the machine flashes lights at you and makes sounds like the movie

" Lost in Space " in order to treat you with " biofeedback " .

But this is good. Because when you come back next week and hold the metal rods

in your hands the 'biofeedback' machine tells you that you are 50% cured. That

is " PROOF " that the device works. The early versions of his software

occasionally told men they had suffered miscarriages, and women they had

testicular cancer. The NTCB expert biofeedback specialists were told to explain

to the client that the biofeedback equipment was SO sensitive that it had

determined that they were suffering from a past life condition from when they

were the opposite sex. Of course now his random number generator is a little

more sophisticated. But apparently his victims are not.

A nice list of 's verifiable lies can be found at:

http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/Tests/xrroid.html.

Please investigate.

Best wishes to all of you,

Thanks for the info. . I think I have hijacked this thread. Sorry

. That is what I get when I respond with too much information too

quickly☺

A friend of mine who is not licensed and can not get BCIA certification is

getting this. She said her insurance company would cover her practice if she

got this certification.

Interesting….. I thought some on this board were going this route.

It was stated, " Currently, anyone who is licensed can use neurofeedback

under the scope of their license. " This is not true. There are a number of

licenses in individual states that do not recognize biofeedback in the scope

of practice. Like Roman law, that which is not specifically allowed should

be considered to be specifically forbidden.

Call your licensing board and ask someone. Be prepared to answer the

question, " what is neurofeedback anyway? " Then be prepared to have a

lawyer

for the board contact you. Don't take my word for it. Try it yourself. Some

of you will be surprised.

Neurofeedback is not a tool for diagnosis, unless you describe it as a

" therapeutic trial " . For example, vitamin B12 is safe. A deficiency

causes

cognitive disorder. Lab workups are not always reliable (for whom the

bell-shaped curve tolls). A therapeutic trial of injection of B12 is ethical

from a cost-benefit point of view. In order to prescribe a therapeutic trial

of NFB it is important that you already have a reasonable diagnosis in hand.

In neurotherapy, diagnosis is performed with EEG. Pete and Swingle have

done excellent jobs in increasing the knowledge and skill of NFB

practitioners everywhere using less than 19 channel EEG. But in court you

are looking at precedent. I suggest you consult:

Thatcher R - Quantitative EEG and the Frye and Daubert standard of

admissibility. Clinical electroencephalography, 34(2), 1-15,2003. [1]

Regarding the 'legality' of billing for biofeedback in a counseling

practice... beware! There are procedure codes for psychotherapy with

biofeedback. A recent discussion on the ISNR (International Society for

Neurofeedback) forum pointed out that all over the country insurance

companies have been telling psychotherapists to use regular codes for

biofeedback. Then at the end of the year they accuse them of fraud and

demand the money be repaid. The insurance companies have been reluctant to

give any statements in writing confirming that they have authorized the

biofeedback.

That being said, I know that many unlicensed NFB practitioners do as good or

better jobs than some of those who are licensed. I hope there can be a way

for all of them to continue working.

I would encourage all of you who are looking at NTCB (ntcb.org) to look the

other way. This is a creation of . He awared himself 8 Ph.D.s

and will sell you one for $2000. He escaped federal mail fraud charges and

fled to Hungary where he pushes his outragous quantum biofeedback devices.

He has created the NTCB and about 6 other bogus groups such as

" medicalbiofeedback.com " , " biofeedbackcoach.com " ,

" thequantumacademies.com " .

When you investigate you will find they are all interlocked with . If

you do decide to get certified by them, don't forget to put a Ph.D. in your

shopping cart.

You can read more about at:

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/medicaldevices/

http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/Tests/xrroid.html

He is a transvestite with a foul mouth as you can see on several news

channel interviews. You can read about the people who have been killed by

people using his ridiculous $18,000 machine while waving their $2000 phony

Ph.D.s as proof of their legitimacy. Many of his dupes are now calling

themselves certified biofeedback specialists (CBS).

Don't miss it. He calls himself . Watch his video on the following

website. He says he is so smart that no one can follow his science except

himself. Who else do you know that has 8 Ph.D.s?

http://www.cbc.ca/marketplace/2009/miracle_makers_or_money_takers/main.html.

Incidentally, several pioneers in neuroscience and neurofeedback, even

M.D.s, have had their photos hijacked and put on 's various websites.

These poor people have had a horrible time and great legal expenses to get

their photos and fabricated testimonials removed.

Best wishes,

Dailey
