Guest guest
We started my son on yogurt a few months ago because the doctor kept prescribing him antibiotics before he was diagnosed with . He is now 18 months old and has been fever free for four months. We have been giving him yogurt every day. We even got our prednisone prescription filled but have never had to use it. We use Stonyfield organic yogurt with heavy cream and he LOVES it. Here are some ways we've given it to him. Straight yogurt, yogurt with cheerios in it (that was his idea), yogurt with applesauce or any other baby food fruit stirred into it. Yogurt and banana smoothie, his favorite. He will drink almost a cup of yogurt and a whole banana if I let him. And I freeze some of the smoothie to give him when my older kids are having ice cream. We also mix yogurt with refried beans for him and this week he started wanting toast and jelly so we spread yogurt on whole wheat toast and he thinks it's great! Please let me know if you have any other ways of keeping yogurt interesting for a toddler!
