Guest guest
Hello colleagues, I see that a member of the group need to sell a Deymend QEEG and because of that, I have the sense that someone should let the users know so to be aware of nasty thigs. I should warn you that Deymed has an unacceptable policy, that is, if a user needs to sell his equipment (that he had paid a bunch of money for the new brand unit), Deymed does not provide any service and support to the new user. I was dealing to buy a used Deyment from Marta and I discover that there is a term in the service agreement that the user should sell the unit to Deymed for a tiny amount of money, (then they refubished it and sell it again 2-3 times more money) otherwise they are not able to support the new user. This is unacceptable businness. Marta still striving to sell her equipment that bought 5 times more that Deymed offer to get it back (and then sell again for 2-3 times more). After that, I sent an e-mail to Deymed Europe looking for a refurbished unit. I said that I'm willing to pay up to 4000$. They said that they have an offer for 6500$ but software/database included. I was dealing with Sales Reresentative (for a week) and almost one step before the deal, I asked more detailed info about the database. He said that I should speak for it with Sales Director which said that no, this offer was wrong and 6500$ was a price for the used unit only, and have to pay more 2500 for the database (NeuroGuide). After that I did end the discussion. Maybe the Deymed's offer was a very good one, I don't know, but the whole story reminds me the small unethical marketing tricks. They do an offer that is affordable to the buyer and slowly add more (see psychology's manual for the reason behind it). So my advise ti to stay away from such bussiness. Go for another unit that offer support and the company can take responsibility of what is saying about. ps. I have all the e-mails available for someone who needs to be certain/confirm all of the above regards, mike batakis
