Hi,I don't know what happened but my sessions folder is empty. I can open Bioexplorer and Bioreview and play back the sessions. But when I open the sessions folder it tells me it is empty.

They even show up in a search but when I click on them it tells me it can not find them and offers to let me browse for them.

Runnng Windows Vista.Got any suggestions.Rolland

Hi,

Thanks for all the info. That is exactly what happened. Someone offered a solution earlier in the stream. I will try it and report back. It will be sometime this evening before I can get to my computer.

Congratulations. You have experienced the Microsoft effect. In order to protect your security, they have made it almost impossible to actually see the files you recorded. Here's the trick. Remove your sessions folder from where BioExplorer puts it (in Program Files: BioExplorer) and put it directly on your C drive or in My Documents. Vista won't let you save user files in the Program Files folder. The bigger trick is to figure out how to get the ones you have saved OUT of there so you can see them. I recently had a guy who did an assessment, saving the files in Sessions in the Program Files: BioExplorer folder. We could open them to playback in BE. We could see them on a search, but to open them in BioReview or move them anywhere else baffled our best efforts for several hours (though I know it's been done before). You copy the file and paste it elsewhere and end up with a Shortcut which says it can't go to the place where the file actually is.Hope someone else will be able to give us a work-around for this.Pete-- Van Deusenpvdtlcgmailhttp://www.brain-trainer.comUSA 305 433 3160BR 47 3346 6235The Learning Curve, Inc.
