Guest guest
Bob the only legalese I know is " Yes Sir " and " Not guilty. " I have a daughter in law with a year left in law school but she works in Oregon with some senior agency donating as much time as she is able. She said tax stuff is beyond her anyway. She goes to H$R Block! She did say that many firms actually do pro bono work and the best approach is to ask an attorney one of us might know who works with a large firm. An application can be made for approval from their home office for an estimated number of donated hours. That process takes a few weeks but it is very, very often approved. Anyone on friendly terms with such a person?? Love ya, Louise. robert himes wrote: > > Hi there Family: > We, the Foundation are in need of the > expertise > of some one with a legal background that can help us read some of the > legal > jargon that is in these papers of incorporation as to what we can and > cannot > do with the money that we collect through donations or our raffles > etc. > There are a lot of other questions we would like to get answered but I > don't > have the legal background to answer them. Guest guest
Hi there Family: We, the Foundation are in need of the expertise of some one with a legal background that can help us read some of the legal jargon that is in these papers of incorporation as to what we can and cannot do with the money that we collect through donations or our raffles etc. There are a lot of other questions we would like to get answered but I don't have the legal background to answer them. I have been trying my best but that is just not good enough for me and I know it is not good enough for the Foundation. So please if there is anyone out there with legalese please contact me or the Board and let us know if you are willing to help, PLEASE! Take care now and be PAIN FREE! Love Y'all! Guest guest
Hi Bob, I once used the services of a retired judge to proof my articles of incorporation when I started a vanpool a few years back. Your local reverend or pastor sometimes has some information on someone who may be able to assist, and sometimes these same gentlemen are qualified themselves to do the task. If you have a military relative, son or daughter, neighbor, or friend...they might be able to help by taking your papers over to thier Staff Judge Advocate office (JAG), and they can interpret for free. I hope these ideas help you in some way. Thanks, Bob & Vivian Mirabal Anyone out there with a legal background? Love Y'all! Guest guest
Hi Guys: Thanks for the ideas but I am retired Military and I have been to the Legal office here at this base and they all say they are to busy and wouldn't give any advice concerning civilian matters for fear of repercussions. I will try some of the other ideas though as they sound pretty good. Take care now and be PAIN FREE! I will send them out tomorrow. I don't know how long it will take to get them to you but maybe I will send them a different way so they get there sooner. I will let you know. I just checked your address, is it still White City, OR 97503-1287? If not let me know. Take care now and be PAIN FREE! (What ever that is?).
