Guest guest
I've enjoyed gleaning from these discussions that some are using Reyataz in an unboosted fashion. One is using 200mg two times per day for a daily total intake of 400 mg Reyataz. Another is using 300 mg twice per day for a daily total intake of 600 mg Reyataz. I am without insurance and am dependent upon a research study that I am enrolled in... everything is taken care of, my doctor visits, my labs, my prescriptions... and I make a whopping $10/visit. Over the past year I have gained 30# all went front and center... classic lipodystrophy (truncal obesity). :::spitting mails::: my doctor will only prescribe 200mg testosterone every two weeks :::spitting mails::: My doctor ordered for me a cat scan of the abdominal and pelvic areas, with the instruction to evaluate for visceral adipose tissue gain. The type written report from the radiologist who viewed the film did not mention adipose/ weight gain. The report did say that my liver, spleen, and various plumbing parts (veins, ducts) appeared to all be normal. So I phoned the hospital xray lab and paid for 5 pages of films for $4 each... at least I have the film... now where can I find a radiologist that can read them for me? (hopefully pro-bono, or heavily discounted) My current medication schedule: 150 mg Reyataz two per day 100 mg Norvir one per day (have currently discontinued taking) Taking two other pills one of which is a placebo. Was told that it is either Truvada or Epzicom, and will find out which one it is when the study has ended. Just over a year ago when I began my ARV meds, at my first office visit I weighed in at 209 lbs. At my office visit Feb 22 I weighed a whopping 240 lbs. After reading Built to Survive I have formed the impression that my doctor is prescribing half the testosterone that my body needs. I asked him for a prescription for nandrolone and he refused. So my action: order online testosterone and nandrolone and inject myself weekly with 250 mg of each. http://www.pharmaeurope.com/shop.php?c=injectables After talking with various healthcare workers I am under the impression of all the medications that I could be on... it is Norvir that is most probably the culprit of having increased my belly fat by 30#. While stopping a drug may not be able to reverse things... at least I will have the assurance that no more fat is going to be added :::crossing fingers::: Not being overly concerned about various liver enzymes, I've chosen to take Bioperine 10mg concurrently when taking Reyataz in the hopes of this natural boosting agent doing a good enough job to keep my test results at undetectable. 3 weeks prior to may last blood tests I'd stopped Norvir and begun Bioperine... my results came back " undetectable " . It may be another 2 months and I will once again get to witness my results.
