Guest guest
The Future of Brain-Controlled Devices http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/12/30/brain.controlled.computers/index.html This news article looks at brain-controlled devices, including those which provide solutions for medical conditions. Many brain-controlled devices would be beneficial to the military, which is why the Department of Defense and NASA are major sources of funding. The article mentions devices by NeuroVigil (to provide instant feedback to drivers who start falling asleep at the wheel) and Eos Neuroscience (to develop light-sensitive protein-based sensors that can treat blindness.) It also mentions game-based headsets by Neurosky (Mindflex and Star Wars Force Trainer.)
