Battery.  More than a few times I've believed the BioExplorer indicator that the Battery was OK.  When I've changed the battery, it usually connects right away if the pendant and dongle are communicating on the same channel.

Dear ,

OK, had the batteries charging overnight and tried the HEG this morning with all three batteries. Still indicates "Connecting". The EEG Pendant works fine with the same batteries. Is there anything else that I may test or is it time to send it in. Thanks so much. Jeff PS Our results with the HEG are astounding and it has become such an integral part of our regimen that it feels like we have lost a limb without it. Thanks so much for getting us involved with this marvelous instrument.

Hey Jeff

I had the same thing happen recently. What I found was if I had batteries in

both the HEG pendant and in the normal pendant things ran a muck. I corrected it

by removing the battery from one to the other each time I changed pendants.

Hope this helps

Jeff,As for ' finding that taking the batteries out of one Pendant when it wasn't being used had any effect on the other--assuming the first was turned off--I have no idea how that would have any effect at all.  I have 3 pendants (pIR and nIR HEG and EEG) and they all have good batteries in them, but I never have this problem.

Since 's post references Hershel, I assume she is using an nIR Pendant and headband, which does suck up batteries very quickly--unlike the pIR--so older rechargeables, as they begin to lose their juice, could well remain weak.

Please check in your BioExplorer: Devices menu option and see that you have one and only one Pendant EEG installed and that it is checked and that nothing else is checked.  The EEG Pendant (NOT the WB Pendant) is the only device you should have for EEG and HEG.

If this is all right (which I imagine it is if you were using it before and if you can use the EEG Pendant) then this is something I haven't run into before.  I'm forwarding this to Bruce and Ariane at pocket-neurobics.com, since they would be the folks who would have the best idea of where to turn next.  If you don't hear from them in 24 hours, please let me know and I'll write them directly.

Hello all,

I had the same problem until I tried a non rechargeable battery. It worked flawlessly. This was a recommendation from Hershel’s support. It seems that my new rechargeable batteries work, but the longer I use them the more problems I have running my pendant headband. Good luck .

Thanks . I had that same problem about 6 months ago. Once you figure that one out you never forget it. In this case we definitly have two pendants on one dongle. Jeff

Very good ,

I will check the possibility of having dual dongles installed even though we confirmed this isnt the case when we first intalled the system. PS I am totally impressed by the design of the new TLC Assessment 6.3 Express. Its definitely sweeter then the last Optimization Suite I saw. Thanks Jeff
