Guest guest
Hi , I'd try Kineret if I were you. Marcia swears by it and I don't remember her saying anything about a reaction site. Someone else here swears by it also. If you do have any side effects, you can always stop and try Enbrel. I was at the Pharmacists today and he was telling me that he has tons of people on Enbrel. It must be working for them. I should have asked him about Kineret but it didn't occur to me since I am doing quite well on Enbrel. I also take 15mgs. of MTX along with the Enbrel. I can't recall if anyone here takes it alone and does well with it. I haven't had any adverse reaction in the injection site but I'm the type that never looks for the side effects. I forget and maybe my positive attitude helps. You know, the back of my knees feel like they are stretched too tight also. I wonder what that means? Must be some fluid in the knees. I went to my Rheumatologist the other day and he's letting me reduce my Prednisone.....thank goodness..... He also noticed that I've gained about twenty pounds in a year so maybe I'll lose some weight if I can wean off of it. I am thinking of changing my California driver's license to a Michigan one and I was looking at my Ca. picture today and thinking............is that what I used to look like?.......pretty sad!!!! I hope this Epidural lasts longer than the one before. Is two weeks the norm? I know you are sick and tired of the pain and fatigue. Let's hope that Caroline's discovery is a break through for us Stilligan's! I don't know much about Disc Degeneration but if you have not injured your back, I don't understand either why you are having it. You are so young. Gosh, I wish we could find a " feel good " pill and get on with a better life. Keep us informed about your decision regarding Kineret. If my Enbrel stops helping me, that's the road I am taking........ ) xxoo Carmen
