Has anyone ever had success treating mal de debarquement syndrome with NFB?

This is the dizziness that happens after going on a cruise. it usually clears

up within a few days, but sometimes it doesn't. I have someone in LaCrosse, Wi

who would like to try neurofeedback. Any providers in the area that would like

to try treating this condition?

Thanks!

It may also be referred to as " sailor's legs " from the sensations

experienced when first walking on the pier after having been to sea for

an extended time. Visual/vestibular dissonance. More later if I can find

the information.//Peder

Hi ,

Someone else recently asked about this on this. A researcher from the University of wisconsin name Yuri Danilov has invented a device called the Brainport, it is a sensory substitution device which has been successful in helping folks with this problem. My understanding is that not much else helps.
