Re: Re: AS related topics anyone? Risperdal Digest Number 683

Hi Marilia , Greg, et al.I attended an Asperger's Support group meeting on Saturday and one couplewere talking about their young child who had recently been placed onRisperdal. They stated the effects were phenomenally positive is this casebut emphasized that the does was very small in relation to the normal amountprescribed. (One person on the web said he takes it (Jerod at 'Crazymeds'?)and his life wouldn't be worth living without it, but he too emphasized thatthe does was small (like 10% of the normal does if I remember correctly). But everybody is going to react differently as we all have unique metabolicmechanism - and Asperger's are just a little more unique than everyone else:-).I did discuss this in an earlier post this month as well and suggested thatthe one person who has written on this is Professor Luke Tsai and his bookon Asperger's Syndrome and medication (the only book on the subject I knowof) was obtainable from Amazon.Rory
