CD4 Count and Trial

Hi all,

I need some feedback. I am currently on Prezista/Norvir/Truvada/and

on TMC125 or placebo. My vl has been undectable now for 6 months-

first time in 18 years on meds. Cd4 count is approx. 280 Cd4 % 18%. I

have HPV and had laser surgery for anal warts in Dec. It was squamous

cell carcinoma in-situ. The surgeon is worried that if anything

becomes invasive that my Cd4 count may be too low for

chemo/radiation. Is this true? I am wondering if I should go off my

trial and just add Fuzeon for better Cd4 count or wait until the

Merck Integrase becomes available and add that with Fuzeon. I know I

want off protease altogether beacuse of lipo-bufallo hump and also

high triglycerides. I feel great energy wise now but feel like

everthing else is spiralling out of control-HPV, lipodyustrophy ,

etc. So I am not sure if I should just add Fuzeon now and potentially

get a beteer cd4 respone or wait-very frustrating because I feel I am

screwed because I can't get Integrase now because of TMC 125 trial.

So it's great I'm undectable but what the f*** is going on with my

immune system? warts also spreading like crazy on hands and feet. I

am getting so sick of dealing with all of this. At 37 years old and

18 years diagnosed. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Tim
