Guest guest
Hi group, My name is Dave and I live in Albuquerque, NM. I began treatment a year ago last September on Kaletra, Truvada, and Ziagen and since then I have noticed a definte change in my height and an ongoing achiness in my bones especially my back. This ache is getting worse as time goes on. I was wondering if anyone else in this group has experienced similar effects from any of those meds. I think that it's the meds because I went off for about a month and a 1/2 last Nov. & Dec. and while I was off the meds the aches went away after about a week. Now that I've been back on them the aches came back after about two weeks and they are slowly getting worse over time. I think it's a great motivation to excersize more. I appreciate your input. Thanks. Peace, Dave living in Albuquerque, NM
Guest guest
Based on my own experience, I would suggest that the Norvir in the Kaletra is elevating your Truvada and Ziagen levels beyond desirable levels. In my case it was excessive blood levels of Viread which caused general aches and headache when taken with Kaletra. If this is the case, it is somewhat problematic because Viread comes in only one size, so reducing the Viread dose requires snipping-off part of the tablet - hardly an ideal solution. This is further complicated by the fact that you are taking a Truvada tablet, rather than a Viread tablet with an Emtriva capsule. >> Hi group,> My name is Dave and I live in Albuquerque, NM.
