Traci; it has been normal for me in the early years but you should

still tell your doctor in case she can help manage it or recommend

therapy. Hang in there sweetie. Much love to you and others, Sister

Melt

Hi Traci

First off I sometimes think that NOTHING about having Stills is

NORMAL. But to let you know that I have had that feeling of not

having any feeling in a finger or two, along with a arm that did not

want to function. Worst of mine was when I could not even come close

to making a fist with my hands. My fingers refused to close at all.

Door knobs were a major obstical. That was when I went out and

bought the miarical wrench or whatever, that strap wrench advertised

on TV to turn hard to turn things,(although I got mine at Sears in

the tool section). Tool Time arghhh arghhh. Hell, I needed the darn

thing just to operate the easy to turn things. But back to the aches

and pains and refusing to move thing, it moved to the other side,

kinda just moved back and forth, but then WENT AWAY. But I would

sure suggest telling your Doc about this, maybe a little adjustment

or change of medicine is needed. Hang in there, wishing you the

best.

Dear Traci,

I also from time to time have different fingers and toes go numb. I get

numbness and tingling in other areas as well. I have often thought it was

related to my Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. I thought maybe I had similar

problems just in different spots. I have also worried that maybe I have

really poor circulation. Let me know what you find out. I hope you find

your pinky again.

Love,

Well, friends, thank you all for replying so quickly. Now that I know

that so many of you have experienced the same thing, I can relax a

little. The pain in my left shoulder has eased up a bit with the pain

med, and I have a little more control over my arm now. My pinky has

regained some of it's feeling, although it still feels really

strange. I will mention this to the Dr., if and when I can ever get

through to her. My next appt. isn't until the end of October, so I

will have to try to call her, which usually ends up being a very

frustrating task. I left a message with her new nurse yesterday that

I wanted to change my pain med from Oxycontin to something else, and

that I was out of my pain med and needed something soon. I didn't

even hear back from her nurse until I called and left a very rude

message again on the machine, and all of a sudden she called right

back. She said she had left my file on the Dr.'s desk and was waiting

for her to reply. I guess I will hear from them whenever and if ever

they feel like getting to it. But, I will keep my chin up none-the-

less, and fight the " dragon " like a good little soldier should.

Love and more one-armed hugs to you all..... Traci
