ANNOUNCEMENT: TOGETHERNESS

Hello all.

With the recent resignation of two of Aspergian Island's

administrators http://www.aspergianisland.org/ and the indefinite

status of the Aspergian Island message board, it becomes necessary

to talk about trust and togetherness.

Many of you are wondering what the recent events on THIS board were

about.

It was about defending members and rooting out the people who pick

on them.

I regret that I had to stoop to the level of common scofflaw to do

it, but I felt it necessary to provide good reason for this member's

banning in front of everyone for the purpose of showing that I had

proof, and for the purpose of creating a public record that could

not be altered by the either party.

I do not believe in having people on this board who hound members

through intimidation and then befriend them after their death.

In order to have a community that actually functions, certain people

had to be extracted from it before more members came to harm.

I know that these events did not please you and perhaps caused you

to question your loyalty to me, but I say to you that it is

necessary so that we may avoid the same sorts of squabbles that have

led to the dissolution of Aspergian Island, from which I myself

resigned as moderator in its infancy.

I request that you bear with me going forward as I try to re-earn

your trust, and I sincerely apologize for any sort of pain or other

negative feelings I may have caused.
