Guest guest
Dear Kate, Thanks for the update. I am sorry you have had a difficult time. If you start feeling better with the meds I believe that you would be kept on them for awhile. Then if you continue to feel better the Doc's would slowly take you off of them. If your still doing well then slowly and eventually you could go off of the meds. Then if you were well with no meds you would be in a true remission. Or if when you are feeling well and the Doc's start decreasing your meds and you start feeling bad again then you would have to continue your meds. Then you would be in a med reduced remission. You can go to the site and change your email address there. If you don't know your User Name or Password you can get this info there. I hope this helps. Take care of your self. Guest guest
Dear Kate; it has been a while and I sit with a smile on my face thinking of you. You have hung in there very well. I'm sorry to hear the move was at such a traumatic time for you and I remember the last time I moved just a couple years back it was for me also the most I had suffered in a while, so now you continue to get as much rest as possible these next few weeks and then I hope you are able to relax a while. Good luck with final exams and don't worry too much of the tears for now, I think it sometimes helps us heal when we shed a few tears. Best of luck, till soon, Patty Hi! Update / DMARDS Hi everyone Just wanted to let you know im back with you, after a really bad week of moving house, feeling rather ill and tired and struggling to keep up with college, which i stil am, lol. Its been a tough week. I got really achey after moving and lifting so many boxes and things around, and i dont know if it was the stress or tiredness or what, but the end of the week left me feeling really low, crying for no reason and feeling really sick and tired, i feel really silly about it now, im usually so different! Anyway things are looking up, im sort of back on track with work and exams and we are more or less sorted in the new house. I didnt have the computer hooked up all of last week, apart from one or two mails i sent from college, and i really missed being able to mail everyone and reply! Im sorry i havent been able to be around. Ill probably be rather quiet this next few weeks too in the run up to my exams. I feel like i need 50 hours in my day! Anyway, a few short questions about DMARDS and MTX...ive been reading up on my new drug and have a few questions! I know DMARDs are supposed to put the disease into remission, so if this happens, do you need to keep on taking the drug to stay this way or can you come off it once it has worked? Also, do you think the mtx could be the culprit of the feeling down? It just seems strange for me, usually. So, i really hope everyone stays as happy and as healthy as can be, im so glad to be back in touch, this group is a great help to me. Thankyou. Take care everyone, love Kate xxx p.s I've been trying to switch my address for the group to my new aol email address - klrobinson18@... - but with no success. Can this be done through the group owner instead? Thanks. _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com Visit the Still's Disease Message Board http://disc.server.com/Indices/148599.html
