Guest guest
Hi, Today I went out to pick up some more goats (never have enough milkers I guess). I added 6 more Toggenbergs and 1 Saanen doe to the milk herd. All the Toggs are first time milkers and are just the sweetest gals! The Saanen doe is HUGE but very gentle and even jumped into the back of the truck. Her dams full sister just won a National Champ title this past week. Also got to see one of my new breeding bucks. He is only 5 months old and smells like an old billy! Will be bringing him home in a couple of weeks to start breeding for winter babies. The little doeling with the broken leg seems to be doing well. She is staying in a chicken tractor so she can't get in trouble or move too much! Eating well and alert, I take that as good signs!
