It showed clear, and the port a cath is still in the right place. We were worried about that. He said he feels the pain in her side and back is due to a pulled muscle. (When she got pulled down from the horse). So, the game plan is to give her advil four times a day (200mg) for a week. They changed her next infusion date on me again, this time to the 19th. When my son came home, he went to work with dad this morn, he said he has lumps in his neck. I said what? I felt, his glands in his neck are swollen, to like grape size. There are two different ones I can feel that are swollen like that. He's a severe asthmatic also. What do you think that is? His glands have never been swollen like this, or ever period. But the one thing that I have learned with all this medical lingo is that if your glands are swlooen it could be an infection of some kind or a virus. Have him check his nodes in his abdomen area. I know that when is getting sick her glands there always swell up first then the ones in her neck. They also are on the back of your head and the time that she got pnuemonia real bad those nodes doubled in size. She had two huge knots on the back of head. She looked like she had swalloed golf balls and the doctors told me that that was a sign of the infection. That is the first thing they always check on my girls. I am sorry to hear about your all problems with the port-a-cath. and Kelsey both had issues with theirs after they got them. They do good now. They still react sometimes but it is more out of fear than anything. At one time they thought that 's had blocked up and were going to rush her into surgery but they finally did get it to access. My girls have had a really bad two weeks. They just don't feel good. I had to start them back on their breathing treatments. Hopefully that will help.
