Guest guest
We purchase Kerry Gold at Trader Joes. For someone who is somehow surviving with 2 kids and a husband in grad school and basically no income, we still somehow manage to purchase all our meat from a local grassfed farmer, our eggs locally, our real milk.... our veggies mostly. I felt like the post was very cold towards the individual asking/telling about KerryGold. We need to remember, we all come from different backgrounds, AND we are all on different places in our journey. Someday when we live above the poverty line? I know I'll buy my butter from a local farmer because I value good healthy local food over maybe having nice stuff. But, not everyone feels this way. It's just like birth.... maybe someone wants a natural childbirth but they aren't yet in the place on their journey that they feel like homebirth is the best place for them to give birth. Do we tell them how stupid they are for trying to give birth in a hospital without drugs? Of course not! We support where they are at and help them the best we can to achieve that. Anyway, it makes me sad that sometimes this community can give off an aura of 'better than you' and I think even if we disagree with someone we should be able to do it nicely.
