Guest guest
Right on the heels of Al ’s illuminating talk, I was alarmed to learn of a nationwide effort to push natural health nutritionists out of business and make the Am Dietetic Assn’s USDA industrial food pyramid agenda the law of the land. Yikes! They’ve sponsored legislation in over 40 states. MN is not one of them (yet), but if you know anyone in a state where this is happening, you may want to ask them to contact their state legislators. Read about it here http://www.anh-usa.org/american-dietetic-association-monopoly/ <http://www.anh-usa.org/american-dietetic-association-monopoly/> “New bills have been introduced in a number of states that will give the ADA a monopoly over the practice of nutritional therapy†" these are the people in charge of the wonderful hospital food. Please take action in your state to stop this power grab and ensure consumer choice!†And here http://www.anh-usa.org/how-the-american-dietetic-association-is-strength\ ening-its-monopoly/ <http://www.anh-usa.org/how-the-american-dietetic-association-is-strengt\ hening-its-monopoly/> “The ADA is clever. It gets legislation passed under the radar, when no one is looking. And natural health nutritionists are getting a rotten deal.†And here http://realfoodforager.com/2011/05/dietetic-association-vying-for-monopo\ ly/ <http://realfoodforager.com/2011/05/dietetic-association-vying-for-monop\ oly/> “Clearly, the American Dietetic Association is trying to infiltrate its agenda into every aspect of nutritional therapy. Under the guise of offering a license it is vying for a monopoly of the vast nutritional therapy market. Backed by massive food corporations they can win over unsuspecting legislators. It is up to us, the grassroots to voice our opinions and prevent the destruction of the alternative nutritionists. The American Medical Association overpowered the entire homeopathy profession in the early 1900′s and they virtually disappeared until only recently. Do not let this happen to the nutritionists.†

Guest guest
You'd think this would be restraint of trade, in violation of Sherman anti-trust act.
