Hi All,

In light of our upcoming relocation, The Fermented Garden is having a " spring

cleaning sale " on all of its lacto-fermented vegetables. We have 4 gallon

buckets (approx 25#) of Kimchi Kraut, Carrot & Ginger Kraut and Caraway Kraut

available for $1.50 per pound. That is an incredible sale! Some of you have

tried our products from the TFMN Warehouse when it was open, others have

purchased directly from us before – we appreciate all of you!

This product has to move so we can move, please help us out – contact a friend

to share a bucket, purchase a bucket and give some to the neighbors so they can

try traditional foods, share it with family and friends or save it all for

yourself! We also have cases of 12 wide mouth canning jars that you can purchase

for $7.25 per case to pack it in for easier and longer storage in the

refrigerator.

If you haven't heard our story, here is a little bit about ourselves: & I,

together with our daughters & Shanon, live on a small acreage in rural

Cannon Fall, MN where we raise 100% grass-fed lamb, pastured broilers and free

range laying hens along with having a substantial garden. Together as a family

we strive to bring to our customers the freshest, most locally grown, healthful

products available.

The Fermented Garden was conceived on a road to healing through food in our

lives. It has been a journey that included a mission trip to Ukraine where we

were told to eat them because they were good for the " tummy " , a Traditional

Foods MN food swap that taught us we could make them and years of practice and

testing them on ourselves and our friends. We have journeyed far in our path to

health through food and discovered that Lacto-Fermented foods are a key to being

well nourished.

For our fermented foods we select the finest local ingredients that are hand

raised and hand picked. We slice and pound the vegetables by hand as a family,

then ferment them in oak wine barrels (industry standard is plastic, stainless

or glass) to create a nourishing, traditional food full of healthy

lacto-bacilli, enzymes and minerals. No water, vinegar or heat is added! They

can be enjoyed as condiments, side dishes or main entrees – we have customers

that love them as the main part of a sandwich! They are great on pizza or with

eggs, too.
