Hello all,

I'm trying to get the word out about my workshop. Would love to have you join

us!

OVERSTUFFED: How to enjoy more, spend less, and be kinder to the planet.

You know the stream of stuff coming into your home, overflowing from your

closets and crowding your mailbox, is making you crazy! It's keeping you from

what's truly important. But did you know the extent to which our stuff is also

damaging the planet?

So many of us are deeply grieved by the disastrous oil spill in the Gulf of

Mexico. And yet, we are so often busy and overwhelmed just getting through our

weeks. It's hard to imagine how it could be different.

But what if you could have more of what you truly want in life and help heal the

earth at the same time?

I believe you can.

Come to an Overstuffed workshop and explore the often-ignored connection between

the mountains of stuff in our stores and homes, and the impact we're having on

the world around us. Learn simple, practical steps to slow the stream of stuff

into your life, and to clear the clutter of things that aren't serving you. Ease

the pressure on your wallet, on the planet, and on your heart and mind.

At the same time, take a look at ten basic human needs like creation,

contribution, affection, and security. How does your stuff support your human

needs? How does it get in your way? Explore where you're satisfied, and where

you want more. Make a plan to have more of what you really want by freeing up

more time and resources from buying things, storing them, and caring for them.

Meet like-minded people and make connections for ongoing, mutual support for

change.

Leave feeling hopeful, with a plan.

Sunday, January 30 from 1-5 at the Eye of Horus in Minneapolis. Cost is $45.
