Perhaps leaving it hang too long under incorrect temperature control might cause it too. Too much soy in a pig's diet will cause mushy meat. But I absolutely don't believe that a grass diet would cause this. I've never had such an experience and have been raising animals for about 25 years or so. Pat Z.
