Guest guest
I picked up the Botanic #7 at Seward yesterday. They didn't have any Original (plain) or Gingerade, which are my two favorites. Only the fruity flavors. I thought it didn't have as much " bite " as I remembered, so they're probably not letting it ferment as long to keep the alcohol content down. Also, it seemed much more fizzy. -- Jenn On Fri, Oct 15, 2010 at 12:50 PM, <ewruck@...> wrote: > I thought the kombucha tasted great but somehow different from what I > remembered. Guest guest
I found this article (interview), and here's what I gleaned from it: what's on shelves now is what was pulled a few months ago. GT Dave is working on a new line called AP5. It will be considered alcoholic and it's availability on shelves will depend upon which state you live in. It will have more than the 0.5% alcohol that grocery stores allow (unless they are allowed a liquor license), but less that beer. It sounds like they want to keep the alcohol level as low as possible. Here's a link to the interview: http://docs.docstoc.com/pdf/5273067/88ed1710-b310-45f9-a30b-5a3cb1f12b98.
